The loss comes as a huge blow as the 2016 first rounder had previously discussed how this year’s training camp was drastically different from his rookie year. A more firm grasp of the playbook slowed the game down and allowed Fuller to think less and just play, leading to Fuller possibly topping his 635 receiving yards from last year.
Unfortunately, injuries are commonplace with a sport like football. Luckily, the Texans have good, young talent at wide receiver. It’s now up to players like Braxton Miller and Jaelen Strong to pick up the slack in the time Fuller will be missing.
